THE WORK
The Heavens Above collection is a masterclass in cultural capital arbitrage, presenting an afterlife where history’s most recognizable figures coexist without hierarchy, urgency, or consequence. Kazumi transforms centuries of master authority into a high-frequency signal for the contemporary collector through a delicate balance of humour and a restrained, sophisticated irony.
Here, dictators share tables and kings lose their crowns, as authority remains but its seriousness dissolves. An intellectual exercise that leverages classical painting and cinematic staging to create a "quiet comedy of legacy," inviting the buyer to acquire a witty, thoughtful anchor to history that signals a discerning eye able to find amusement in the system's deliberate failure.

Presented pseudonymously, the work is encountered without biographical framing.
